She said earlier this week she is happy with the way she looks and secure with her size 10 figure.
And last night Lauren Goodger decided to show off her womanly figure to its best advantage as she donned a cut-out dress for an evening out with her soon to be sister-in-law Jessica Wright.
The 24-year-old reality TV star looked confident in her navy dress, which she teamed with a pair of tan peep-toe heels as she left her home in Essex.
The Only Way Is Essex star was joined by fiancé Mark's sister Jessica, who looked pretty in a Grecian-style draped strapless dress, and the latter's mother Carol Wright, 50.
In an interview earlier this week, Lauren admitted she was fed up with constant criticism about her weight.
She said: 'I’m really annoyed by a lot of stories I’ve seen this week. I don’t feel insecure about my figure, I’m happy with the way I look.'
Asked how often she works out, Lauren replied: 'It’s never a regular thing with me, it could be once a week or twice a week, depending on what’s going on.
'I’m still a size ten and if you look from series one I’ve not changed much.
'I’m bored of talking about it all the time - at the end of the day people might go on about my weight, but I’m the one engaged to Mark and happy.'
But despite her insistence that she is happy with her appearance, Lauren started a bootcamp earlier this week in a bit to shed some extra pounds.
She wrote on her Twitter page this morning: 'Feel like I've been beat up love this feeling bootcamp 4days intense hardest thing ever but makes u feel so good!No more bad pics of me haha!'
Meanwhile, Lauren has revealed she is dreading the start of filming for the third season of The Only Way Is Essex, because it will mean her having to face love rival Lucy Mecklenburgh.
Lucy caused controversy earlier this year when she claimed she had kissed her ex-boyfriend Mark during a trip to Marbella in May.
Talking about facing Lucy again, Lauren replied: 'It's going to be weird and I'm dreading it. The producers are going to put me in situations I don't feel comfortable in.
'I don't know what I'll say to Lucy. It depends what she's going to say to me. I'm sure there'll be something.
'If I saw her away from the cameras, I probably wouldn't give her the time of day. I wouldn't give her the satisfaction.'
